Payment Procedures...
Payment for medical or other healthcare services can sometimes seem like an uphill struggle. While there isn't much the Barner Clinic can do to ease the procedures required by the various Insurance carriers, we can help take some of the burdern of filing off your shoulders. Below we've outlined what things we can do for you so that you and your family can concentrate on better health and a happier lifestyle.
For Patients WITHOUT Insurance
- We request that 100% of the first visit be paid at the time of the first visit.
- If you are unable to pay 100%, we will be happy to assist you with your financial obligation. This will allow you to obtain the healthcare you need and handle your fees in a convenient manner.
- We are glad to accept your Check, MasterCard or Visa.
- A monthly interest charge of 1.5% will be added to all unpaid balances.
For Patients WITH Insurance
- We DO NOT KNOW if your insurance covers Chiropractic care. However, most insurance policies cover chiropractic service, but the amount they pay varies from one policy to another. There are many that will pay 100% but there are also some that only pay a small amount (if any). Because of this difference between policies, we request each patient who wishes to file insurance claims through the Barner Clinic pay his/her deductible as well as an additional 20% of the outstanding bill.
- When the insurance checks have been received and if there is an overpayment, we will refund that overpayment to you, the patient.
- A nominal fee will be charged for additional insurance forms

As a courtesy to our patients, our office will complete any necessary reports and forms at no charge to help you collect from your insurance company.
